Steve and Cindy Kneer of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Marie Kneer, to Christopher James Sterrie, son of Robert and Niki Sterrie of Paducah.

Miss Kneer is the granddaughter of Joan Neihoff of Paducah and the late Edwin Neihoff, and the late Herman and Patricia Kneer. She is a 2008 graduate of St. Mary High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2012 from Murray State University. She is an alumna of Sigma Theta Tau sorority.

Mr. Sterrie is the grandson of Ellen Sterrie of Alberta, Ala., and the late Donald Sterrie, and the late Avis and June Corley. He is a 2007 graduate of Marshall County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2012 from the University of Kentucky. He is employed by Nasco in Bowling Green.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Feb. 16 at St. John Catholic Church in Paducah.
