Will and Sandy King of Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Rae King, to Ryan Blake Johnston, son of Danny and Marcia Johnston of Paducah.

Miss King is the granddaughter of Virgil and Sandy King of Bardwell and the late Don Bishop. She is a 2007 graduate of Carlisle County High School in Bardwell and a 2012 graduate of Murray State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Miss King is employed by the McCracken County Board of Education.

Mr. Johnston is the grandson of Margaret Johnston of Paducah and the late Burle Johnston, and the late Mary Evelyn Branham and the late Donald Hussey. He is a 1995 graduate of Lone Oak High School and is employed by the City of Paducah Fire Department and the McCracken County Coroner’s Office.

A Dec. 21 wedding is planned at Walker Hall in Paducah.
