GOLCONDA, Ill. — Kelly Lynn Flowers and Christopher Ray Volle were united in marriage Oct. 15 at San Damiano Retreat in Golconda with the Rev. James Michael Elliott officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Jody Flowers of Kevil, Ky., and Judy Bean of Kevil, Ky.
The groom is the son of Stan and Marilyn Volle of Golconda, and Kim and Sharon Newbold of Golconda.
The bride chose her sister, Mrs. Carla Flowers Browning of St. Charles, Mo., as her matron of honor. Miss Katey Browning and Will Browning, daughter and son of B.J. and Carla Browning of St. Charles, served as flower girl and ringbearer.
The groom chose his daughter, Miss Amber Volle of Golconda, as his attendant. Ushers were B.J. Browning, Dwayne Stone of Murray, Ky., and Greg Stone of Paducah.
A reception followed. Alison Dawes of Kevil attended the guest registry.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Heath High School in West Paducah and earned a bachelor’s degree from Murray (Ky.) State University in 2000. She is employed by Caesar’s Entertainment in Bossier City, La.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Golconda High School and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, Ky. He is also employed by Caesar’s Entertainment in Bossier City.
They reside in Bossier City.
