Kathryn Etheridge, 94, of Paducah, died at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at her home.
Ms. Etheridge was a retired secretary for Morgan Elementary, a proofreader for The Paducah Sun, president of the Magnolia Homemakers Club, secretary for the Diagnostics Center in Paducah, and taught Sunday school at Broadway Church of Christ for over 35 years.
Ms. Etheridge is survived by her daughter, Judy (Carl) Turner of Paducah; three sisters, Lucy (Gene) Phelps of Indianapolis, Ind., Marianna (Cletus) Myers of Greenfield, Ind., and Jeanie (Bob) Halstead of Crawfordsville, Ind.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Aaron Theo Etheridge; her father, George Milton Hann; her mother, Ethel Smith; two sons, David Milton Etheridge and Roger Dale Etheridge; two brothers, Vernon Smith and Virgil Smith; and one grandson, Carl Turner Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Dan Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Ms. Etheridge will be Monday, April 29, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
