MARION — Katherine Buckalew Wardlaw, 94, of Marion died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Salem Springlake Care Center.

She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church, Marion Women’s Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, Edward J. Buckalew of Orlando, Fla., and Robert Buckalew of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie W. Buckalew; her second husband, Brady Wardlaw; and one brother. Her parents were Joe and Mable Clark. 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, with interment in Mapleview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
