HARDIN — Jovida Waugh, 53, of Hardin, Ky., passed away at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Ms. Waugh held a Bachelors Degree in Law Enforcement and was of the Holiness faith.
She is survived by a son, Charles W. Paisley of Hardin, Ky.; a daughter, Cynthia Cunningham and husband Curtis Cunningham Sr. of Mt. Hope, W.Va.; her mother, Gathalee Pavkovich and stepfather, John of Lively, W.Va.; her companion, Chuck Paisley of Hardin, Ky.; a brother, James T. Lucas and wife Trudie of Lively W.Va.; a sister, Selina Wright of Virginia; three grandchildren, Asia Davis, Beonca Cunningham, and C.J. Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Homer T. Lucas; her stepmother, Shirley Lucas, and a brother.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Dennis Lawrence officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery of Paducah.
Visitation for Ms. Waugh will be held from noon Tuesday, February 19, 2013, until service time at the funeral home.
