Memorial services for Johnnie Cawthon will be held at Maplelawn Cemetery Mausoleum at 12 noon today with Brother Robert Schmidt officiating.

Mr. Cawthon died Sunday at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

A native of Paducah, he attended the public schools and earned his GED while serving in the Army. He worked as a truck driver for a number of agencies.

He was preceded in death by one son, five brothers and three sisters. His parents were Clem Cawthon and Rosezetta Hatter.

Surviving are his wife, Joann Cawthon; one son, Johnnie Cawthon of Memphis; six daughters, Mary Seymore, Betty Ware and Linda Tates, all of Memphis, Pam Johnston of Pensacola, Florida, Gwendolyn Cawthon and Tresa Tyler, both of Paducah; one brother; and two sisters.

A special visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Mundy Funeral Home.
