SEDALIA — Mr. and Mrs. John Rodgers of Sedalia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Patti’s restaurant in Grand Rivers hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Camille and Brad House of Sedalia.

Mr. Rodgers and the former Sondra Elaine Taylor were married Dec. 23, 1961, at Sedalia Baptist Church by the Rev. Edward Mayfield. Their attendants were Dillard and Annie Rodgers.

Mrs. Rodgers is the daughter of the late Leonard and Inez Taylor.

Mr. Rogers is retired from maintenance with the City of Mayfield and served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 23 years. He is the son of the late Hubert and Gladys Rodgers.
