John Howell Willeford, 88, of Paducah died at 11:25 a.m. Saturday at McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.

He was retired from ISP Chemicals in Calvert City and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Willeford of Paducah; a daughter, Darla Wells of Paducah; a son, Bart Colson of Paducah; and a sister, Charlotte Mann of Paris, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sue Willeford, and a brother. His parents were Glen and Mary Willeford

A private family burial will be held later.
