CADIZ — John Steven Britt, 51, of New Albany, Ind., formerly of Cadiz, died Saturday in Louisville.

He was of the Methodist faith. He had worked as a computer programmer for Humana.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Lancaster Britt of Cadiz; one son, Christopher Steven Britt of New Albany; two brothers, William Earl Britt of Lexington and James Robert Britt of Cadiz; and one sister, Sharon Louise Shelton.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Britt.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rocky Ridge Baptist Church in Cadiz with the Rev. Robert McIntosh officiating. Burial will be at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
