Jill Katherine Wood and Robert Matthew Ellison were united in marriage Dec. 4 at Madison Hall in Paducah with the Rev. Spencer Pate officiating. Recorded music was presented by Majestic Sounds.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Wood of Mayfield.

The groom is the son of Mary Ann Ellison of Mayfield and Dan Ellison of Cadiz.

The bride chose Mrs. Natalie Vessel of Bowling Green as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Beth Watson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Miss Laurel Blissett of Boulder, Colo. The ringbearer, Caden Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Wood of Elizabeth City, N.C., was accompanied by Carley Wood of Mayfield.

The groom chose Chris Cowger of Mayfield as his best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Ellison of Mayfield, brother of the groom, and Chad Tucker of Reidland. Serving as ushers were Ryan Cates of Sedalia and Kirk Vessel of Bowling Green.

A reception followed.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Graves County sports_high_school in Mayfield, a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green and a 2006 cum laude graduate of McWhorter School of Pharmacy, Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. She is employed by Hospital Corporations of America.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Mayfield sports_high_school and a 1999 cum laude graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in ag business. He is a self-employed farmer.

They reside in Mayfield.
