MAYFIELD — Jessie D. McClure, 98, of Mayfield died Friday at Mills Health and Rehabilitation.

She was a member of Seven Oaks Church of Christ and retired from Andover in Mayfield.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Chad Pickard of Mayfield, Marla Cilley of Mt. Pisgah, N.C., Paddi Newlin of Chattanooga, Tenn., Deana Watson Parks of Farmville, N.C., and Lee Ann Provow Shirley of Michigan; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McClure; one son, Irvin Lee “Buddy” Pickard; one daughter, Peggy Pickard, and several brothers and sisters. Her parents were Robert and Minnie Wheeler.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Highland Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
