BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller of Benton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 18 at Benton Church of Christ. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Miller and the former Jean Cavitt were married Nov. 22, 1962, by Carl Shockley at Farmington Church of Christ. Their attendants were Sarah Wright and Donnie Bearden.

Mrs. Miller is retired from the Marshall County School System. She is the daughter of the late Otho and Mae Cavitt.

Mr. Miller is retired from Air Products and Chemical Co. in Calvert City. He is the son of the late John Tom and Josie Miller.

They have two sons: John Miller and Brad Miller, both of Benton; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
