MAYFIELD — James Wilson Scoggins III, 82, of the Clifton neighborhood of Louisville died Thursday.
He attended the Kentucky School for the Blind and worked there for 32 years. He was a member of the KSB Alumni and the Christian Assembly Church in New Albany, Ind.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy R. Scoggins; two stepsons, Timothy Dunn and Donald Dunn; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Sue Scoggins; and one son, Tom Scoggins. His parents were James and Mary Scoggins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Byrn Funeral Home, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave., Louisville and after noon Monday at Byrn Funeral Home.
