PRINCETON — James C. Gray, 77, of Princeton died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Caldwell Medical Center.

He was a retired pastor, formerly serving as pastor of Green Hill Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a retired pipefitter from B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Kidd Trader Gray; one son, Steve Gray of Princeton; one daughter, Cynthia Brown of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two stepsons, Gordon L. Trader of Clarksville, Tenn., and Brian Trader of Germany; one stepdaughter, Amber Trader Grimes of Freemont, Neb.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Louard Gray of Caldwell County, Murl Gray of Morgantown and Gary Gray of Princeton; four sisters, Margaret Smith of Princeton, JoAnn Sullivan of Lyon County, Connie Joyce of Caldwell County and Brenda Joyce of Princeton; one aunt; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Ladd Gray. His parents were James William “J.W.” Gray and Oral Pearl Goodaker Gray.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at the funeral home.
