Lisa Southern of Benton announces the engagement of her daughter, Brittany Lyn Jackson, to Ryan Smith Haverstock, son of Gary Haverstock of Murray and Linda English of Ada, Ohio.

Miss Jackson is the granddaughter of Ted and Patricia Noles of Ledbetter. She is a 2003 graduate of Marshall County sports_high_school and a 2010 graduate of the Houston Dental Assistant School in Houston. She is employed by Saifee Family Dentistry in Houston.

Mr.  Haverstock is a 1996 graduate of Murray sports_high_school and a 2001 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He is employed by the International Oil Fields Service of Texas.
