Imogene Talbert York, 78, of Paducah died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was a member of Reidland Baptist Church and retired from the McCracken County Board of Education as a teacher’s aide at Reidland Elementary and Reidland High School.

She is survived by three sons, Gary Lee York, Michael Allen York and Tony York, all of Paducah; three daughters, Susan Gayle Messmer, Holly Jean Greene and Kimberly Diane Orange, all of Paducah; one brother, James W. Talbert of Paducah; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Lee York. Her parents were Willard and Lucille Duncan Talbert.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Kenton Cemetery in Paducah.
