LA CENTER — Ida B. Townley, 82, of La Center, died at 2:07 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at her home.
She was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Townley Sr.; four sons, William H. Townley Jr., Earl Gaddies, Gary Townley, and Keith Townley, all of Detroit, Mich.; three daughters, Trevis Gaddies, and Beverly Moore, both of Detroit, and Vertie Lorraine Townley of La Center; three brothers, Edward Gaddies, and Reginald Gaddies, both of Detroit, and Elbert Gaddies of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Margaret Gaston of Detroit and Nisey Baylor of Washington, D.C.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother; and two sisters. Her parents were Zatie and Denson Gaddies.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at La Center First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Hill officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time at the church.
