MURRAY — Hobert “Coy” Phillips, 78, of Murray died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ, a retired U.S. Air Force technical sergeant and C130 pilot, a Vietnam veteran, and a semi-truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Phillips; two daughters, Deborah Yarbrough of Southaven, Miss., and Starrie Underwood of Lebanon, Ore.; one stepdaughter, Bobby LaDonna Quintanilla of Reseda, Calif.; one son, Rex Coy Phillips of Spokane, Wash.; two stepsons, Mark Dunn of Lancaster, Calif., and Alan Dunn of West Covina, Calif., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. His parents were Poke and Vivian Spiceland Phillips.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, in Murray City Cemetery with Jason Hart officiating.
