FULSHEAR, TEXAS — Hazel Anderson, 84, of Fulshear died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Katy Hospital in Katy, Texas.
She was a member of Needville Community Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Anderson of Fulshear; one daughter, Linda Davis of Cadiz; one son, David Anderson of Houston; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Nelson James Jr., of Pikeville, Roy James of Ohio, June Harper of Mayfield, Clyde James of Belfry, and Rhonda Smith of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter. Her parents were Nelson and Bertha Smith James.
Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Schmidt Funeral Home in Katy, Texas, with Rev. Monty Kelley officiating.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Schmidt Funeral Home. It will continue from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, with Rev. Gene Oller officiating. Burial will take place at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.
