Leroy and Elizabeth Harper of West Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Ashlee Harper, to Kerry David Mansfield, son of David and Teresa Mansfield of Kevil.

Miss Harper is the granddaughter of Leon and Kay Sutton of Bardwell, and the late Leroy and Janice Harper. She is a 2004 graduate of Heath High School and earned an associate degree in applied science in 2008 from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is a physical therapist assistant employed by Lourdes hospital.

Mr. Mansfield is the grandson of Howard and Maxine Schneider of Metropolis, Ill., and Sue Mansfield of West Paducah and the late Norman Mansfield. He is a 2001 graduate of Heath High School in West Paducah and earned an associate degree in science in 2004 from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He is employed by the City of Paducah.

A September wedding is planned.
