Freddie and Rose Gough of Hickory announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Lee Gough, to Jonathan David Gehring, son of David and Terecia Gehring of Madisonville.

Miss Gough is the granddaughter of the late Fred and Annie Loee Gough, and the late Louis and Carrie Lanier. She is a 1999 graduate of Graves County High School and earned an associate degree in travel and tourism in 2000 from Sullivan University in Louisville. She is employed by the Pella Corp.

Mr. Gehring is the grandson of Louise Jenkins of Greenville and the late Henry A. Jenkins, Francis Hibbs of Madisonville and the late Roy Hibbs, and the late Joseph E. Gehring. He is a 2002 graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School and is attending Mid-Continent University.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6:30 p.m. June 24 at Trace Creek Baptist Church in Mayfield. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations have been sent.
