Georgie Louise Bell, 87, of Paducah died at 1:37 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2012, at Covenant Hospice Care Center in Panama City, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.E. Bell; her parents, George Morris Ligon and Lela May Gipson Ligon; a sister, Ruth Marie Ligon Wilkerson; and a granddaughter, Rachel Christine Bell.

She is survived by a son, Christopher Bell of Panama City Beach, Fla.; one brother, Jerry Lee Ligon of Jackson, Tenn.; a granddaughter, Hillary Sea Bell of Nashville, Tenn., and two great-grandchildren.

Private graveside rites will be Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Brother Johnny Sims officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
