Gene Myre, 57, of Paducah died Friday, March 15, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Myre was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Myre; his mother, Frieda Myre of Peoria, Ill.; four sons, Will Myre of Paducah, Michael Myre of Louisville, Matthew Myre of Paducah, and Jonathan Myre of Louisville; two daughters, Kaitlin Myre of Paducah, and Shannon Baum of Washington; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Myre, and one sister.

No services are scheduled.
