METROPOLIS, Ill. — Gary “Donnie” Leek, 67, of Metropolis died at 4:19 a.m. Friday at Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Leek was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Metropolis, and he played the piano for several gospel groups.

He is survived by three sons, Curtis Leek of Metropolis, Robert Leek of Pensacola, Fla., and Randy Leek of Fayetteville, N.C.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Leek and LaVella Caswell Leek Easter.

Services will be noon Wednesday at Metropolis Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Lunsford officiating. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.
