BENTON — Franklin D. Strong, 71, of Benton died at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Strong, a native of Henderson, was a retired delivery driver and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Strong; one brother, Winston Strong of Henderson, and one sister, Gale Fambrough of Henderson.

He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Landon Strong and Naomi Parrish Strong.

Private family services will be held later.

There will be no visitation. Collier Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
