CALVERT CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Tomsic Sr. of Calvert City will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on July 31.

Mr. Tomsic and the former Flo Gaus were married July 31, 1942, by the Rev. Clair V. Rhodes in Louisville.

Their attendants were the bride’s sister and brother, Leona Spink and John Gaus Jr.

Mrs. Tomsic is the daughter of the late John and Emma Gaus.

Mr. Tomsic is the son of the late Michael and Gertrude Tomsic. He is retired from B.F. Goodrich in Calvert City.

They have two sons: Frank Tomsic Jr. of Calvert City and James Tomsic of Michigan; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
