MURRAY — Frances E. Walker, 76, of Murray died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She was a member of Russell Chapel United Methodist Church  and retired from Wal-Mart with 40 years of service.

She is survived by her husband, J. P. Walker; one daughter, Sheila Kirks of Murray; one son, Steve Walker of Murray; two brothers, Charlie Rains of Murray and Robert Rains of Panama City, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Charles and Florence Williams Rains.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blalock-Coleman and York Funeral Home with the Revs. Derrick Williams and Bob Saywell officiating. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
