FARMINGTON — Frances Shupe, 88, of Farmington died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She was a member of Farmington Church of Christ, a homemaker and worked at the former Merit Clothing Company.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Dix Moody of Lincolnville, N.C., and Mary E. Shupe Worley of Farmington; one son, Kenneth Scott Shupe of Farmington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ross Shupe, and two sisters. Her parents were Clinton and Rolla Mae Jones.

Private services will be later at Farmington Cemetery. Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray is in charge of arrangements.
