Floyd James McClure, 82, of Sedalia died at 12:18 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at his home.
He worked for General Tire in Mayfield for 28 years. He was a member of Lynnville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Lee (Tyson) McClure; three sons, Terry McClure of Palmersville, Tenn., Dennis McClure of Mayfield, and Stevie McClure of Sedalia; two daughters, Karen Barber of Palmersville and Barbara McClure of Martin, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny McClure and Jackie McClure; one daughter, Carol Sue McClure; one grandchild; and five sisters. His parents were Ollie James and Lavanda Irene (Johnson) McClure.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, Tenn. Burial will follow in Acree Cemetery in Dukedom, Tenn. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the funeral home.
