LOUISVILLE — Floy Mae “Punkin” Hernandez, 83, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Louisville.

She was a native of Paducah, daughter of the late John and Floy Nimmo Byerley.

She is survived by her husband, Marcelino Hernandez; her daughter, Marquita A. McAllister; her sons, Gerald (Mary Lou) and David (Suzanna) Hernandez; her sister, Barbara Ann Willis (Herbert); 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Her funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
