CLINTON — Estelle Scott Curlin, age 87, of Clinton passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at ICF in Clinton, Ky.
Estelle was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Beulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Paulette McGill and husband Pat of St. Louis, Mo., Pauline Smithmier and husband Lawrence of Clinton, Ky., Stella Mathis and late husband Neil of Clinton, Ky., Debra Cates and husband Damon of Cunningham, Ky.; her son, Roger Curlin and wife Coretta of Milburn, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentice Ray Curlin; her parents, Walter and Carrie Virginia (Barclay) Scott; two sisters; eight brothers; one grandson, and two great-granddaughters.
Graveside services for Estelle Scott Curlin will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013, at Milburn Cemetery with Revs. Rocky James and Ian Carrico officiating. There will no visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
