CUBA — Era Mae Miller Chapman, 89, of the Cuba community died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Heritage Manor Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Cuba Baptist Church and retired from J.C. Penney and the Cuba High School cafeteria. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Lynnville Homemakers and was a Red Cross volunteer.
She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Miller Reyburn of Fruitport, Mich., Christy Gail Yeiter of Big Sandy, Tenn., and Cindy Lou Gay of Benton; two sons, Gregory George Miller and Brad Lewis Miller, both of Mayfield; two brothers, John H. Wilkins and Newton Wilkins Jr., both of Cuba; one sister, Katie Estell Coil of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George C. Miller; her second husband, Raymond Chapman; and five brothers. Her parents were Newton Wilkins Sr. and Katie Page Wilkins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Glynn Copeland officiating. Interment will follow in Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the funeral home.
