MAYFIELD — Elwanda Gendrolis, 65, of Westland, Mich., formerly of the Kaler community, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.

She was a homemaker and attended Temple Baptist Church in Redford, Mich.

She is survived by two sons, James Rodney Gendrolis of Westland, Mich., and Mark Steven Gendrolis of Spring Hill, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Her parents were William Martin and Almeda Jackson Ray.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Byrn Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Walker officiating. Burial will follow in New Sandhill Cemetery.

Friends may call on the family after 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
