CADIZ — Eleanor Moore Darnell, 87, of Cadiz died Sunday at Clarksville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was a member of Canton Baptist Church, former Sunday school teacher, homemaker, and member of Ophelia Chapter No. 55 Order of the Eastern Star and Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Darnell of Phoenix and John Darnell of South Chicago Heights, Ill.; two daughters, Virginia Page of Clarksville, Tenn., and Marcha Osgood of Steger, Ill.; one brother, Ben Moore of Cadiz; two sisters, Velma Morgan of Big Rock, Tenn., and Sue Goodrich of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Her parents were John C. and Beulah Lurline Dawson Moore.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Cannon officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
