BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Edward Poe of Benton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Mr. Poe and the former Jane Austin were married Dec. 30, 1950 in Corinth, Miss.
Mrs. Poe is a retired cosmetologist. She is the daughter of the late Marshall and Velma Austin.
Mr. Poe is retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 816. He is the son of the late Ervin and Myrtie Poe.
They have three children: James Eddie Poe and Jana Barrett, both of Benton, and Jeff Poe of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
