MAYFIELD — Edith Hobbs, 92, of Mayfield died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Manor Healthcare Facility in Mayfield.

She was a retired pocket finisher at the former Curlee Clothing Company in Mayfield. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy Smith of Boaz; a son, Jimmy Hobbs of Mayfield; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard G. Hobbs; and four sisters. Her parents were Bonnie and Mary Breedlove.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield with Eric Riley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Church Cemetery in Fancy Farm.
