Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Sullivan of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. June 3 at Zion’s Cause Baptist Church, U.S. 68, Draffenville. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts. A family trip is also planned in July.
Mr. Sullivan and the former Dorothy Jean Littlejohn were married June 2, 1962, at First Baptist Church in Smithland by the Rev. Reed Woodall, grandfather of the groom. Their attendants were Dick Berry and Shirley Littlejohn.
Mrs. Sullivan is a retired assistant to the county tax administrator of McCracken County. She is the daughter of Frank and Ruth Littlejohn of Benton.
Mr. Sullivan is employed in industrial sales by Barnes Distribution and serves as the bi-vocational music minister at Zion’s Cause Baptist Church. He is the son of the late Rev. H.G. and Velda Sullivan.
They have two children: Kim Chance of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Craig Sullivan of Franklin, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
