Doris Marie Hoskins, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:24 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at her home.
Doris Hoskins was a lifelong resident of Paducah and 1945 graduate of Augusta Tilghman High School. Doris was co-owner of Hoskins Coin and Jewelry, with her husband, Charles Lewis Hoskins, Jr. They owned and operated the business together for 57 years, working side by side every day. She was an avid philanthropist, collecting and selling stamps as part of their business. In 1971 she obtained her Realtor license. As someone who was fascinated by technology and computers, she became one of the first members of a local computer club in the mid-eighties and continued her enjoyment of technology throughout the years. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of East Baptist Church.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Linda Kaye Duff; son-in-law, Edward Duff and son, Ronnie; five grandchildren, Christa Cosner, Stacey Knight, Todd Duff and Brent Hoskins, all of Paducah and Amy Duff Bonner of Franklin, Tenn.; and eight great- grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Emma Jean Guill and Mary Burchett, both of Paducah; three brothers, Frank Raymond Park of Melbourne, Fla.; James Park of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Charles Edward Park of Champaign, Ill.; and a brother-in-law, Leon Hoskins; several nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles Lewis Hoskins Jr.; her father, Frank McCoy Park; and her mother, Della Vinson Park; a brother, Richard Park; and a sister, Shirley Ann Cates.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
