DEXTER — Doris Jean Boggess, 79, of Dexter died Tuesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Boggess was a retired school bus driver for the Calloway County school system and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by four daughters, Pamela Buchanan, Patty Cossey and Donna Tucker, all of Murray, and Alisha Adams of Almo; two sons, Joey Boggess of Murray and Eddie Boggess of Farmington; one sister, Mary Clemmons of Murray; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hampton Boggess; one son, Ronnie Boggess; one sister; and two brothers. Her parents were Gaylon and Ruby Edith Morris Miller.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Ricky Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
