BENTON — Mrs. Dora Dean (Dunn) Parker, 85, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, at 12:50 p.m. at Lakeway Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benton, Kentucky.

Born Thursday, September 22, 1927, in Golden Pond, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Felix Dunn and the late Eva (Jones) Dunn. She was the wife of Joe Parker of Benton, Ky.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Bobby Joe Parker of North Carolina and Gary Wayne Parker of Mayfield, Ky.; one brother, Dallas Dunn of Palma, Ky.; four grandchildren, Gina Parker Justice and husband Trey of Columbus, Ohio, Shawna Parker Wadkins and husband Roy Jr. of Calvert City, Ky., Jarrod Parker and wife Gina of Columbus, Ohio, and Ryan Parker and girlfriend, Kayla Cutsinger of Benton, Ky.; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alvin Dunn, two sisters, Alice Coursey and Delilah Pogue.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton.

David Hendrickson will officiate.

Interment will follow the service in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens in Benton, Ky.

Friends may visit with the family after noon Sunday, January 6, 2013, until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
