METROPOLIS, Ill. — Donnie O. Tate, 54, of Metropolis died at 11:19 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis. He worked for 18 years at General Tire.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Tate; two sons, Tyler Tate of Metropolis and Justin Tate of Mayfield, Ky.; one sister, Sandy Looper of Mayfield; one brother, Ronnie Tate of Mayfield; one stepdaughter, Melissa Watts of South Fulton, Tenn.; and one stepson, Frankie Watts of Martin, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie and Linda Tate.

There will be no services.
