PRINCETON — Don Turpin, 76, of Princeton died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital.

He was retired from the Navy with 25 years of service. He was a member of V.F.W., American Legion, Elks, Eagles, Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

She is survived by one sister, Teresa Barnett of Fredonia; sister-in-law, Caroline Turpin Tubbs of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; and a brother-in-law, Bobby Dyer of Princeton.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. His parents were Edward Byron and Beatrice Fraley Turpin.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
