FANCY FARM — Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Toon of Fancy Farm will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Toon and the former Dolores Hobbs were married June 18, 1947, by the Rev. Edward Russell at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm. Their attendants were Joe Toon and Mildred Curtsinger.

Mrs. Toon is the daughter of the late Kelvie and Mary Hobbs.

Mr. Toon is the retired owner of Toon’s Small Engine in Fancy Farm. He is the son of the late Ernest and Mary Toon.

They have six children: David Toon and June Toon, both of Paducah, Denise Wilson and Gary Toon, both of Fancy Farm, and Kay Norman and Ellen Montgomery, both of Benton; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
