Mr. and Mrs. James W. Thweatt of Paducah will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Monday.

Mr. Thweatt and the former Dixie Chambers were married Dec. 27, 1951, in Corinth, Miss.

Mrs. Thweatt is the daughter of the late Virginia and James Chambers.

Mr. Thweatt retired as an engineer with 35 years’ service from WPSD-TV. He is the son of the late Elsie and Rex Thweatt.

They have four children: Vivian Thweatt of Panama City, Fla., Mike Thweatt and Chris Thweatt, both of Paducah, and Dan Thweatt of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; three grandchildren; one deceased grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
