GRAND RIVERS — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin of Grand Rivers will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Grand Rivers Community Center. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Martin and the former Deloris June O’Bryan were married Feb. 24, 1962, by the Rev. Gainey Bohanon at Grand Rivers Methodist Church. Their attendants were Virginia Helm Bohanon and J.D. Knoth.

Mrs. Martin is retired from the Kentucky Department for Human Resources. She is the daughter of the late Owen and Virginia O’Bryan.

Mr. Martin is retired from CCMA in Calvert City. He is the son of the late John and Barbara Martin.

They have four children: Bryan Martin and Robin Martin, both of Grand Rivers; Robert Martin of Calhoun; and Brent Martin of Benton; and seven grandchildren.
