CAVE-IN-ROCK, Ill. — Services for Delcie Lucille Hurford, 77, of Chicago, formerly of Cave-in-Rock, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-in-Rock. Burial will be in Empire Cemetery.

Mrs. Hurford died Saturday at Forest Villa Nursing and Rehab in Chicago.

She was formerly employed by Prudential Building, Montgomery Ward, Sprague Iron Works and A&B Cleaning Service.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Charles Hurford; a daughter, Janet Rose Nystrom of Chicago; two grandchildren, Amber Rose Parylak and Charles Nystrom, both of Chicago; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Her parents were Lola and Edward Newman.
