ALMO — Mr. and Mrs. Don Campbell of Almo will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall of Central Church of Christ, 2201 Washington St., Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Campbell and the former Deanna Faye “Dee” McPeters were married July 7, 1962, by Kenneth Marrs at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Ariz. Their attendants were Glenn Breeden and Emma Mowery.

Mrs. Campbell is a retired child care worker. She is the daughter of the late Amos and Lucille McPeters.

Mr. Campbell serves as the minister of Puryear Church of Christ in Puryear, Tenn., and retired as an executive director of the Tennessee Children’s Home in Spring Hill, Tenn. He is the son of the late Arlen and Louise Campbell.

They are the parents of Donna Short of Belleville, Ill., Dana Lawson of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Jeff Campbell of Rochester, Ill. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
