Mr. and Mrs. Robert “Herb” Smith of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Smith and the former Claudine Cornwell were married June 29, 1961, by the Rev. B.J. Baron at St. Mark Methodist Church. Their attendants were Elise Campbell and Lawrence Wayne Smith.

Mrs. Smith is the former owner and operator of Claudine’s Fashions and retired from United Custom Builders. She is the daughter of the late Jack and Jenetta Cornwell.

Mr. Smith owned and operated United Auto Sales for 33 years and is the retired owner of United Custom Builders. He is the son of the late Lasta and Louise Smith.
