Services for Christopher Richard Francis, 51, of Paducah will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries with the Rev. Alfred Anderson and the Rev. Barbara Burrage officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Francis died at 12:13 a.m. Thursday at Broward Health and Medical Center of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Mr. Francis was a graduate of Christian County High School. He was formerly employed as a mechanic at Sears and Hicks Auto of Paducah. He was the owner and operator of Francis Muffler Shop and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Francis; his mother, Margaret Francis of Fort Lauderdale; one son, Kiel Francis of Paducah; one daughter, Charmaine Waddell of Fort Lauderdale; three grandchildren; four sisters, Jacqueline McCluster of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, Beverly McRee of Memphis, Tenn., Joan Henry of Atlanta and Natasha Francis of Hopkinsville; five brothers, Anthony Francis of Fort Lauderdale, Kurt Francis and Brian Francis, both of Lexington, Lyndon Francis of Nashville, Tenn., and Winston Francis Jr. of St. Croix; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Winston Francis Sr., and one sister.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
